Grasmere and Rydal Bed and Breakfast Accommodation
|Wander along the lane, past Dove Cottage, home of William Wordsworth,and discover the peaceful retreat of Woodland Crag, overlooking the old village duckpond in the vale of Grasmere.
Built in 1852, this beautiful Lakeland stone house is the ideal location for a few days away from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Woodland Crag and its lovely fellside garden is only a five minute walk away from the centre of the charming village of Grasmere.
From the garden gate you can join the fellside path up to Alcock Tarn. Alternatively, take the level walk to Ambleside along the historic “coffin route” passing through the hamlet of Rydal, taking in stunning views of both Rydal Water and Grasmere lake.
Walkers are especially welcome, we have a drying room for wet clothes and muddy boots.

Lake View Country House
|Lake View Country House is a Lakeland stone house, dating from 1825 which is situated in a beautiful and quiet location at the end of a private lane, but within easy walking distance of the village centre and local restaurants. Lake View has an attractive Lakeland garden. It also benefits from ample car-parking space for guests. Guests can take advantage of the private access to the lakeshore and the fishing rights that we enjoy.
The accommodation offered consists of four guest bedrooms with en-suite facilities and three self-catering apartments, all located within the house.
Stephen and Michelle welcome you to Lake View and are happy to accommodate well-behaved dogs (in certain rooms) and children, but please note that, although we welcome children of all ages to our holiday apartments, we do not cater for children under the age of six on a Bed & Breakfast basis. Lake View Country House is a non- smoking establishment.

Heron Beck Guest House
|We are situated on the outskirts of Grasmere, but within easy walking distance of the Village, giving you the best of all worlds; bustling village activities and facilities together with quiet Grasmere bed and breakfast accommodation backing onto open fields with a profusion of natural wildlife coming into our garden, including red squirrels, badgers, deer, woodpeckers, nuthatches and many other birds.
William Wordsworth, whose home Dove Cottage, together with its museum, is very close by. Another of his homes, Rydal Mount is just 2 miles away.
Our Sitting/Dining Room is situated at first floor level to the front of our Grasmere B&B with superb views over the valley to Silver How and the mountains beyond. The sitting area is available for our guests to use at anytime, to read or play boardgames should they so desire.
All our B&B Bedrooms are en-suite, centrally heated and have views of the fells. They are fully equipped, including flat screen TV’s, alarm clocks, hair driers and tea and coffee making facilities. Two comfortable chairs are provided in each bedroom.

Buckle Yeat Guest House
|'Buckle Yeat' is famous for its connections with Beatrix Potter, the cottage being illustrated in the 'Tale of Tom Kitten' and 'The Pie and the Patty Pan'. A traditional 17th Century Lakeland cottage with six en-suite bedrooms, which are tastefully decorated and furnished with your comfort in mind. All our bedrooms are non-smoking, individually decorated and en-suite. Each also have the additional comforts of tea and coffee making facilities, colour televisions and hairdryers.
Free Wi-Fi available and we also have a laptop provided for guests' use.
Buckle Yeat Guest House is situated in the village of Near Sawrey, which is an ideal location for touring the English Lake District and discovering the real Lakeland.
